Short Biography

Dr. Evelyne Kihiu is a lecturer in the School of Business and Economics at the University of Embu. She holds a PhD (Development Economics, Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Bonn, Center for Development Research, MA Economics from the University of Botswana (under the African Economic Research Consortium Collaborative Masters Programme) and BA (Economics major, First-Class Honours) from Kenyatta University. Dr. Kihiu is the Economics Programme leader, School of Business and Economics, University of Embu. Dr. Kihiu lectures in both undergraduate and post graduate (Masters and PhD) programmes in the field of economics and has strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and research experience. She has attended and presented papers in both international and local conferences/seminars, and published papers in refereed journal.
