Linkages
The Department of Business & Economics recognizes the importance of implementing a mentoring program to connect undergraduate students to mentors in industry. The program provides students with a connection to navigate their way through university into the world of work.  Mentors come from a variety of private, public sector and not-for-profit organizations and have management and leadership experience. Towards this end, the department continues to establish and foster Industrial Linkages. For instance, the department has collaborated with KRA to set up tax clubs among the students. The clubs help the community in tax compliance issues including filing returns. The department has also partnered with the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to continually sensitize students in capital market matters such as organizing capital market challenge. The department has also partnered with KASNEB to offer its professional courses. Other, industrial Linkages include; Institute of Economic Affairs, Kenya School of Government among others.
Welcome to our website where you will find full details of our programmes, faculty, research and our partners.
